LockLizard announce the release of the Mac version of their secure PDF Viewer -
Lock Lizard Safeguard PDF Security for Mac OS X

Files protected using Lock Lizard Safeguard PDF Security are now accessible from Apple Mac OS X platforms. Mac users running operating system OS X 10.2 and above now have access to protected PDF files in just the same way as
users running Windows platforms NT, ME, 2000, 2003 and XP.
John Dermott, LockLizard's CTO said "This release was a result of numerous requests from existing and potential customers. Whilst Windows still remains the main user base for all our publishers and their customers, that does not mean we have ignored the operating system that is still the heartland of document publishing. Our beta program has been well received and has given us positive feedback which we have carried forward into the
released product. Publishers can now implement controls that are identical across both systems."
LockLizard Safeguard PDF Security protects PDF documents by encrypting them with the AES 256 bit encryption algorithm recommended by the NIST for protecting commercial and financial information. Digital Rights Management controls are embedded into the protected documents, preventing hacking or changing the information. Publishers can prevent their customers copying, distributing, printing
or saving protected PDF documents unless their customers have been authorized to do so. Customer and document expiry and instant revocation means publishers remain in control of their protected content at all times.
