SECURING FLASH FILES



Securing SWF files:   Highlight your flash files in Windows File Explorer, right-click and select 'Make secure SWF'.

The following tabbed dialog will be displayed:


Customization:   Here you can brand the Secure Flash Player with your own splash screen and custom message.

Document Access:   Here you select what customers/users can view your secure flash files.

Expiry and Validity:   Here you select when your secure flash files expire (if ever) and whether checks have to be made with the server to validate licenses.  By enforcing license validation you can instantly revoke access to your secure flash files.

Environment Controls:   Here you select various controls that determine what environment the Secure Flash Player will run in.

Printing and Viewing:   Here you select whether users can print your displayed flash content.  You can also limit the number of times your secure flash files are viewed.

This is where you create and edit user (customer) accounts and manage file and publication records.

USER REGISTRATION



A license file email is automatically sent to each user when you create an account for them.  Users install the secure flash player and register with you so they can view your secure flash files.

VIEWING SECURE FLASH FILES



Double-click on a secure flash file in Windows file explorer for it to display in the Secure Flash Player.

Flash file usage controls are enforced by Flashguard Flash Security and cannot be circumvented. Details of when the user account expires and when the flash file expires (if at all) are displayed at the bottom of the Secure Flash Player.
